Your fishing adventure begins
when you arrive at Elfin Cove. Our staff will greet you, load your
gear, and give you a short tour of the harbor. Then disembark at our
dock and be escorted to your private accommodations. After a great meal
and a good nights sleep, GET READY! We're going fishing!
Our two 32-foot custom built aluminum boats are equipped with the latest navigational and
fish-finding equipment. Once aboard, you'll be guided to the greatest
Southeastern Alaska fishing areas by experienced, licensed guides. Keep
your camera handy! Orca and humpback whales frequently provide escort
on our trips. Majestic bald eagles, sea otters, sea lions, seals, bear,
deer, and birds of many kinds are all part of the wildlife show that
you will see daily.
Don't forget to watch your pole,
it could be that big one you've always talked about and can now brag
about. King salmon (that could weigh over a 100 pounds), silvers,
pinks, halibut (that could weigh over 200, maybe 300 pounds), and many
other sport fish species.
You'll step back in time as you observe the masts
of the fishing vessels in the harbor, stroll the boardwalks and relax
in our remote fishing village. Savor our clean air, enjoy the serenity
our community has to offer. Let us share with you our very special
place and make your experience everything you've ever dreamt your
Alaska adventure would be.
Inner Harbor Lodge is a great place for family,
friends and corporate groups seeking a custom vacation with a private
setting. Give us a call to reserve the lodge for your group (maximum
8). We are receiving bookings for next summer right now, so call early
and get the best reservation dates. A $1,000/person deposit confirms
your reservation.

A new service that we started
offering in 2000. We are set up to fish all the rivers in the area.
There you can fish for dolly varden trout, steelhead, silver salmon,
coho salmon, and the monarch of the breed, the king salmon.
We supply all the tackle and bait needed to catch
the big ones! Sorry, all you die-hard fly fishers out there, we don't
supply fly fishing gear.
This is one place you need to bring your camera,
on these shores you may get up close and personal with all the
fantastic wildlife in the area. We recommend "catch and release" when
fishing the rivers, if they have made it this far, they deserve to do
their thing.
As you know, fly Fishing is a highly personalized sport/art.
In order to guarantee your satisfaction, we don't
supply fly fishing gear. We recommend that you bring your own if you
want to fly fish. We can still take you where you need to go to
experience the best fly fishing possible.
Below are some pictures of some of the fish we have caught using light tackle on the rivers.
